Celebrate Independence Day with purpose and unity at CAE’s 1st Annual Community Reunion Cookout—an unforgettable evening of live music, food, faith, wellness, and connection. This signature event brings together families, artists, and leaders from across Mercer County and beyond for a shared experience of joy and renewal.

 

Live Music Lineup:

• Headlining Artist: Pastor B.J. Pleasant – CAE President & CEO

• Special Guest: Eve 'Light Da Flow Minista'  – Canton, Ohio

• Men With Skills Band – Youngstown, Ohio

• DJ D. Pen (Dana Penson) – Live DJ set from Youngstown, Ohio

• CAE ONESOUND Drum Corps – Led by the Ohio Drum Academy

• Additional performances to be announced

 

Food Experience:
Enjoy cookout favorites from Lil’s Kitchen, Milly’s Eats & Sweets, and additional local food vendors.

 

• Children 10 & under and seniors 65+ eat free (RSVP required)

Tour the Future:
Step inside CAE’s Mobile Music & Gaming Unit for Youth, a patented model by Doreen Upshaw, LPC of Compass Counseling & Support Services. Designed to deliver trauma-informed care and recovery support, this mobile unit will be on-site and open for tours and Q&A.

 

Activities & Amenities:

• Outdoor games, cornhole, and tabletop painting

• Indoor lounge with pool table and dart board

• Resource vendors and wellness stations

• Prayer booth hosted by Stand In the Gap Ministries – Youngstown, Ohio

• Flag & dance ministry by Spirit & Truth Kingdom Ministries – Canton, Ohio
