C.A.E.'S 'PLANET ROCK' SCHOOL TOUR
ENSURING STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT AND SUCCESS!
C.A.E.’s ‘Planet Rock' School Tour initiative is designed specifically to boost student achievement and provide a workforce development pipeline from education to job placement by seamlessly merging arts standards with core academic curricula. C.A.E.’s ‘Planet Rock’ School Tour initiative solves supplemental service needs for public, private, and charter schools, including organizations and churches within C.A.E. service areas.
PROJECT SUMMARY:
C.A.E.'s 'Planet Rock' School Tour's pro-social approach engages youth within their communities, schools, organizations, peer groups, and families in a manner that is productive and constructive; recognizes, utilizes, and enhances young people’s strengths; and promotes positive outcomes for young people by providing opportunities, fostering positive relationships, and furnishing the support needed to build on their leadership strengths. We explore specific models inclusive of civic and community engagement projects, career and technical education programs of study, entrepreneurship, arts-infused learning activities, and family engagement capacity-building mandate. These offerings are designed to entice students organically by creating an attractive, relatable environment through combined family-friendly entertainment and inter-generational technology that is conducive and engaging to both learning and well-being.
Monetary and professional incentives are offered through our work-study program, scholarships, internal employment opportunities, earned IT certifications, and self-serving personal achievement through the completion of student projects and products.
The general scope of this project is built on four dynamic pillars:
-
Responsive & Positive Interventions and Supports
-
Holistic Approach to Learning
-
College Planning & Workforce and Career Development
-
Parent + Family Engagement
A series of workshops are introduced to encourage our participants to create their own pathways in life, and to use their entrepreneurial skills on behalf of their communities as well as societies throughout the world.
