The Ohio Afterschool Child Enrichment (ACE) Educational Savings Account program provides qualifying families with a $1,000 credit per child. These funds can be used to pay for a variety of educational activities designed to help accelerate learning for children impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eligible Students

The ACE Educational Savings Account program is available to any Ohio child ages 6 to 18 (who hasn’t graduated from high school) who meets at least one of the conditions below.

The ACE application window for the 2023-2024 school year will open on July 17, 2023.

Please Note: Parents and guardians who were previously awarded for the ACE program during the 2022-2023 school year do not need to apply again to receive the

$1,000 credit for the current school year. All active ACE accounts for the 2022-2023 school year have automatically been credited an additional $500.
